Come and join the Garden State Chapter for drinks and appetizers as we enjoy an evening of comradery in the Griffin & Howe Crow’s Nest event center!
Keynote speakers will be Laird Hamberlin, CEO of Safari Club International, discussing the six core pillars of SCI: Advocacy, Conservation, Convention, Membership, Hunting and Chapters, as well as the SCI Foundation and the recent acquisition of The Outdoor Tomorrow Foundation, and Dr. Brian Beakler, founder of Horn & Tusk Society, who will discuss how it operates and its current focus on prioritizing and planning conservation funding initiatives across Africa.
Both speakers will offer valuable insight into global conservation efforts and the critical role hunters play in wildlife stewardship.

In 2024, New Jersey proudly joined the SCI community with the founding of the Garden State Chapter. Led by a dedicated inaugural board, the chapter is committed to protecting hunters’ rights, promoting conservation, and educating the public on the vital role hunters play in wildlife preservation. They also focus on youth education and advocating for modern, fair hunting regulations.

The Horn & Tusk Society is an organization dedicated to the conservation and sustainable use of wildlife in Central and Southern Africa. Through ethical, responsible hunting practices, the Horn & Tusk Society works to protect wildlife habitats and ensure these species are preserved for generations to come. Their presentation will offer valuable insight into global conservation efforts and the critical role hunters play in wildlife stewardship.
The evening will also feature a small silent auction, a gift basket raffle and the drawing of a Guided Texas Exotics hunt with Pope Brothers Guide Service.
