The Remington Model 1889 Shotgun was the first shotgun design made by Remington Arms Co. replacing the 1887 design made by their predecessor E. Remington & Sons. This example is the Grade 3, with Damascus barrels, engraving on the rib extension and a finer quality of wood than the lesser models. The overall condition s very good for its age, with only moderate wear and a few scratches.
