The Model 24 was originally made by Stevens Arms as the Model 22-410 in 1938, with Savage assuming production with the name Model 24 in 1950. Production continued from 1950 until 2010 in a variety of rifle calibers ranging from .22 LR to large cartridges such as the .30-30 and .357 Magnum, the shotgun barrel was available in gauges ranging from .410 to 12 Gauge. This example, made in .22 Hornet / 20 Gauge is in very good overall condition, with mild wear.
