The Smith & Wesson Model 29 was, at the time of its introduction, the most powerful production handgun in the world, with only custom pistols made in more powerful cartridges. Upon its introduction it saw limited popularity, until it saw the silver screen in the movie “Dirty Harry” which saw its popularity drastically increase. This example of a 6.5″ 29-2 is in very good overall condition with mild wear from use and a small crack forming on the right grip panel.
