SPRINGFIELD M1 GARAND .30-06

General George S. Patton once called the M1 Garand ” The greatest battle implement ever devised”, and very few people can argue with this assessment. This example is one of the many sold through the CMP and as such is fully functional with multiple replacement parts. overall condition good, which is normal for a rack grade gun. The stocks are non matching and in fair to good condition with no serious damage. The metal parts are all in good condition with multiple parts being re finished after their service causing corrosion in the field. the barrel installed is dated 1951meainng that it is a replacement barrel, bore condition is good with strong rifling, fairly sharp shoulders and no serious corrosion. In all, this is a good example of a rack grade gun and shows good character from use.
