SWEDISH M96 6.5 x 55MM

The M/96 was adopted by Sweden in 1896 and became one of the country’s principal military rifles. Chambered in 6.5×55mm, the Swedish Mauser is well regarded for its high-quality manufacturing, excellent machining, and distinctive Swedish military markings.

Produced primarily by Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori, these rifles remained in Swedish military service for many decades and were used in a variety of military and training roles. Today, the m/96 is recognized as an important example of Scandinavian military history and is widely collected for its craftsmanship and historical significance.

The metal components and action are in very good condition with all matching numbers. The bore is in good condition. The stock is also in very good condition, presenting well for its age. This example includes the diopter sight, sling, and bayonet.
