The Winchester Model 1911 SL, sometimes called the widowmaker due to its odd reloading method, was Winchester’s attempt to copy the success of the Browning Auto 5. This example, made in 1914, is in good overall condition, with wear appropriate for its age. It looks like the finish on the stocks and steel may have been touched up in the over 100 year life of this shotgun. The stock has also become very slightly loose and should be tightened or re fitted.
