The FN Model 1922 was an evolutionary development of the Browning Model 1910, effectively taking the pocket pistol and making it a full sized service pistol. The M1922 saw use by a number of European police and military units, this particular one was made for the German Military during their occupation of Belgium in the second world war. At some point a previous owner decided to replace the original blued finish with a durable nickel finish.
