COLT OFFICERS ACP MK IV .45 ACP

The Colt Officers ACP is a compact 1911 derivative introduced in 1985 as competition to the Rock island “General Officers Model” and Detonics “Combat Master”. Upon release it was generally well received, but further production examples proved to be finicky with ammunition and had a rather sharp recoil impulse due to the small size. This example, made in 1997 has had a few modifications, likely to improve the shootability of the pistol. These modifications include the replacement of the sights, grip safety, recoil spring assembly and trigger bow. All of the original components have been kept with the pistol, but the new grip safety was hand fitted to the pistol, so the original may not fit anymore. Overall condition of the pistol is very good, with little wear.
