The Hamilton Rifle No.27 was one of the most popular rifles sold by C.J. Hamilton & Son, originally only worth a few dollars and often given away during promotions, it was a common gift for boys coming of age. this example is in good condition compared to others of the like, as they were often “Loved to Death” and it was more cost effective to replace them rather than fix them. Though the rifle is technically functional, it is more of a collectable that a usable rifle. The bore is quite worn and appears to have a bulge in the internal liner.
