It is unclear exactly which model of tower rifle musket this is, as time has not been kind to it, but it was likely one of the less expensive export models that were imported around the time of the American civil war. This rifle is missing a number of parts and the overall condition is poor, its still unknown what the brass band was added to the barrel for. The caliber is listed as unknown because it appears oversized for the standard .577 projectile.
