SMITH AND WESSON TOP BREAK 32 S&W

This Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless .32 is in fantastic shape for its age, being designed in 1887 as part of Smith & Wesson’s “New Departure” and ending production shortly before WW2. It is mechanically perfectly functional with in my opinion, a wonderful trigger. The bluing overall is quite good, but slightly speckled. The only notable wear on the pistol is the bore, it appears to have been used with black powder ammunition, and although it is somewhat corroded, the rifling is still deep and sharp, leading me to believe that it will continue to be a fine shooting pistol with a great vintage holster.
