The Mannlicher-Schönauer sporting rifles started production in 1903 and continued until 1971, known for their quality and incredibly slick actions, they were a sought after rifle for many years. This Model of 1903 is in immaculate condition with the only sign of wear being a small superficial spot of corrosion on the barrel. The stock appears as if it may be a replacement that was made to the exact specifications as the original, bit to a higher finish, with finer checkering. The bolt has also been equipped with a folding peep sight.
