$900.00
Originally produced in 1962 the Remington Model 700 is one of the most ubiquitous bolt action rifles in the American market. This is a particularly early example from 1965, bearing all of the features that were later removed as cost saving features. These features include, a charger slot in the rear bridge that was carried over from the Model 721, a complex rear sight carried over from the Model 725, a safety that locks the bolt and includes a square thumb tab, button rifled barrel, short cocking shroud and aluminum buttplate. Despite the age of this rifle, it is still in wonderful condition, with only a few faint spots of corrosion on the barrel to show its age.
