This Classic 1903 sporting rifle modified by Paul Jager is in very good overall condition with only minor wear. It features a beautifully figured walnut stock with horn forend tip and grip cap as well as a Lyman receiver sight and Jaeger side scope mount. Barrel condition is very good, with a very clean 6 groove bore and only a few minute spots of finish loss and surface corrosion. There are also a few splices in the stock around the receiver, likely filling in where different sights may have been installed in the past. All work appears to have been done to the highest quality.
