The Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action Frontier is an improved version of the earlier No.3 pistols, utilizing a double action trigger system and improved construction, allowing for toolless field stripping facilitating easy cleaning and maintenance. This Example is in very good condition for its age, with moderate loss of bluing. The internal lockwork is in excellent condition and the timing appears to be near perfect. The bore condition is likewise very good, with only mild wear.
