The Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless, sometimes called the “lemon Squeezer” by collectors, was a relatively advanced defensive pistol developed in the late 1880’s and incorporated distinct safety features such as a grip safety and shrouded hammer. This example of a late generation .38 S&W features a near perfect nickel finish and factory pearl grips.
