The Remington Model 10 Was the firm’s first pump action repeating shotgun, introduced in 1908 with its design done by John Pederson. It proved to be a reliable sporting shotgun, with examples accepted into military service by both the U.S. and Russia during WWI. This example is in fair overall condition, with little of the original finish remaining and considerable wear on the functioning parts. The action runs smoothly, but the barrel assembly is loose against the receiver and is unable to be tightened as the release lever is welded in place. There also appears to be a problem with ejection, likely die to parts wear. the stocks are in surprisingly good condition for the shotguns age, but there are cracks starting to form in the head of the buttstock.
